I’ve always been quite lucky in that I am tall and have never really had any major issues with my weight, and so I had a very laisse-fair attitude to working out ie. I didn’t. However, the time eventually came when I started noticing things weren’t as toned as they used to be and I also started to think more about my general health and fitness which weren’t great. I knew I had to do something about it, and booked myself in to Nancy’s Body Step class at my local gym … I’ve never looked back. Nancy was so welcoming and totally put me at ease. I don’t feel like I’m brilliantly co-ordinated, but it didn’t matter, the class was so much fun and I left feeling energised and happy. I was hooked and now attend her Body Step, Body Pump, Body Attack & Spin classes. The fact that I have gone from zero to 3-4 classes a week is almost entirely down to Nancy and her ability to make the classes so much fun.
However I soon realised that apart from attending classes I also needed to make sure I was fuelling my body in the right way to get the benefits of the workouts I was doing. I also knew I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to help me other than Nancy. She started me on a nutritional programme, sending me recipes and tips to help me get started, and also set me simple challenges to do at home on top of the classes I already attended. I also had 1:1 PT sessions when I could, to get a more tailored workout for the results I was looking for. Nancy is always on hand to answer any questions or give advice and is honestly one of the nicest, kindest (and most patient) people I know, I can’t recommend her highly enough.
If you are looking to lose weight or improve your fitness (or both), get amazing support while you are doing it and, more importantly, have fun while you’re doing it then Nancy is your girl! She really is with you “Every Step”
