I first met Nancy at group classes in my local gym, from the moment I arrived Nancy knew I was a newbie to the class and came and introduced herself. From that moment she made me feel at ease and relaxed around her, whilst also checking if I needed to let her know about any problems I had. I have always suffered from back pain and Nancy listened and didn’t push me to hurt myself and gave genuine different options throughout the class for myself and others who had also told her about problems. No one was called out or pushed beyond their limits (don’t worry though she knows when you aren’t working hard enough for yourself and will encourage in the right ways). After going to lots of Nancy’s classes, I felt super relaxed and not judged at all so wanted to approach her about personal training options. As someone who has tried all the fad diets out there and had many a PT (never worked for me) I had a long conversation with Nancy. Nancy listened to me, what I like to eat, what I don’t like to eat, but also and most importantly what I wanted. Nancy set me a wonderful plan but also explained to me what was needed without always removing my chocolate and crispy duck pancakes! For once I felt I could literally have my cake and eat it too, just in moderation right? My one to one sessions with Nancy with constant online support from her have been nothing short of a miracle, even if I am the most awful person at logging my calories! Nancy never ever judged me or shouted or got angry, she simply listened to what was happening outside of my “gym life” and helped me to pull my gym/eating well life and personal / work life together. As someone who has always worked away from home, I needed constant support of calories, hotel room workouts and most importantly understanding what I was doing it all for. Support through a bad back, a foot injury and a breakup, Nancy is there to tailor everything to you and just support. Never ever any telling off, just listening and working out how to get through it. I can’t recommend Nancy highly enough to anyone who is looking to making that step towards a healthier lifestyle and to reach their goals because she will truly partner with you with NO judgement and whole lot of fun along the way! I first met Nancy when I managed to make it to a very early spin class at my gym which I hadn’t been to before. Until I had my first child 5yrs ago, I didn’t bother with exercise, after my first I met Nancy Priston & she’s been by my side ever since. I met Nancy two years ago in a local gym. I loved attending her super fun classes but then Covid appeared and we were asked to stay at home. I had not enjoyed home workouts so I asked Nancy for help and she sent me short but very effective workouts which I could easily do at home and they also helped me to improve my running. Nancy’s positive attitude has kept me going and she made me feel very proud even of my smallest achievements. Nancy gave me some excellent advice regarding nutrition and although I still enjoy a good glass of wine I definitely make much better choices when it comes to food and especially take aways. Having never really taken gym classes before I fell upon Nancy at one of her bodypump classes and soon became a regular to any of her classes….adding spin, attack and step (badly)….yet to be convinced to try Sh’bam 😏 ,….her classes are always so hard to get into but that’s because they’re super popular as she makes them so much fun! Through these classes I got to see Nancy’s infectious happiness for exercise and having fun and when I needed a “kick up the backside” reached out to start face to face and online PT with her. It came at exactly the right moment and I’m honestly amazed at what a difference it’s made. Nancy makes it simple and straightforward but is also so supportive and always there when needed – from menu planning when I’ve been working abroad (Swiss translation included 😂) to being on the end of the phone through lockdown and being a massive support as we navigated Gym closure and normal routines ripped apart. Nancy is the most inspiring and motivating fitness coach. I signed up for a mix of 1-2-1 fitness sessions and weight loss coaching, and despite me making every excuse under the sun as to why I couldn’t manage a session or manage my calorie intake, she persisted! She’s completely non-judgemental, utterly supportive and wants the best for you. Even when I had given up she didn’t give up on me, and kept in touch in a gentle, supportive way. I first met Nancy doing her spin class at Nuffield in Surbiton. I loved those classes as she wasn’t the shouty type of instructor, more the encouraging type! What I really liked was that it was always ‘your workout’ rather than having everyone try to achieve the same thing.
So when my clothes started feeling tight and I needed a kick start, I turned to Nancy for support. Her approach is simple – eat less, move more! And it works. Many of us trick ourselves into believing that training is key and if we train enough then we can eat and drink what we like. You can’t!! The simple approach of tracking calories and training sensibly gives you nowhere to hide and I managed to hit my goals (which weren’t huge but I’d never achieved them of my own accord) quite quickly whilst also maintaining a healthy social life and a sense of balance.
The great thing is if I add on a few pounds at any time and things start feeling tight again, I know what I need to do! I’m also much more comfortable knowing an effective way of training in the gym on my own after my many Friday morning 121 training sessions with Nancy. Nancy is great at establishing a training regime which fits your needs and taking any injuries / medical issues (such as my bad back/hips) into account.
If you are looking for a sensible and long term approach to getting and staying fit and healthy then Nancy is your lady!!

I first came across Nancy at my gym some years back as she taught Aqua there. She was so lively and fun her classes were soon booked up VERY quickly. Then she moved on and I lost touch with her but she came back! Word got out she was doing various classes but a friend recommended Sh’bam. Reluctantly I went along as I am no dancer but it was fab – great music, disco lights – the works! I also did her Step class which was a really good workout – as all her classes are. I had thought about getting a PT before but somehow always shied off. However just before the first lockdown I braved it and emailed Nancy as I knew she did PT work. She emailed me all the various options with no pressure at all. She emailed recipes/so much information which was really useful and which I am still using. So I decided to go ahead and then lockdown happened. So no gym available but Nancy had a list of workouts I could manage (with no equipment needed obviously) – she worked with me on my targets – tone up/stop the boredom eating/was very encouraging when I seemed to plateau but nicely kicked me in the butt when I needed it too! Every Monday she would text me and see how things were going and was always there to answer any questions/queries I might have. She was absolutely brilliant – I achieved my targets and then some. I would recommend her without hesitation – she is not just an extremely nice person but she knows her stuff too! I loved working with her and would do it again.

I first met Nancy at a spin class and straight away felt more at ease. I’d never been to a class and was very early into my exercise journey so had no idea what to expect. She was so kind and friendly. Nancy not only supports you but she gets to know you. I then started one to one PT sessions which were great. She taught me that exercise can actually be fun! And that MyFitnessPal would be such a great tool! Not only to help keep me on track but it actually made me realise that years of guesstimating was not accurate at all! When a friend recommended Nancy to me she said she was inspirational and the best person to help with weight loss guidance. Nancy helped me with 2 months of online support in May 2020. As long as I followed her advice with diet , recording food intake and exercise I found it reasonably easy to lose weight and some long unwanted inches . Dr Nancy Priston, so glad I met this young lady via the classes at the Pavilion Club.I started online with Nancy in August 2019 with an additional face- to-face PT at the beginning for measurements plus connecting with Nancy properly and identifying what exactly were my goals – weight loss but to increase my fitness plus a Commissioning Ball as the goal in December 2019. Nancy then set me up on MyFitnessPal alongside an exercise plan for when I was unable to attend the gym classes or away on holiday (those were the days!).and sent me away with heaps of encouragement. Nancy then supported me throughout my journey, answering any questions plus kept me focused along the way. In November 2019 after 3 months online, I had a face-to-face PT session which confirmed a weight loss of 7.8kgs and body fat loss of 9.8kgs – amazing! Since then, I continue to follow the principals of scan, log and eat or drink and have finally found a happy place to maintain my weight and size.even after 2 Christmases, a wonderful holiday and now in lockdown 3. I have not gone without, having a Fortnums and Mason afternoon tea plus eating out to help out in the summer but this is all possible if you stay within your quota – I still eat dark chocolate and peanut butter daily!Finally, I would recommend Nancy who changed my whole attitude towards food and eating habits with the most satisfying chore of changing my whole wardrobe as I had dropped two clothing sizes.

I’d seen the work Nancy had done with others and when I was struggling to lose weight decided to go to her for help. At one point during the three months I called her a witch – I suddenly realised I’d changed my eating habits completely, yet had never been told to or felt that I was being judged by what I ate. Nancy made it easy for me to change my ways, without having to miss out on my favourite snacks, her support was constant and consistent with loads of tips and ideas to incorporate into daily life, exercise and my diet. Wow where do I start? Nancy is no ordinary PT, I have tried a number of PT over the years. I am one of these people, who need to click with the instructor who can give you a boost when needed, but who isn’t pushy, doesn’t tell you what to do, but explains the benefits. She is flexible and tailors it to your likes and dislikes, understands your habits and encourages you to try new things. Nancy, (she shouldn’t), but she is always there for you and she listens!! And I love her for that. I have been a long term PT face to face client with her, she has given me tools and taught me mentally to continue my fitness journey, but when I need an extra boost, we will include extra sessions. Totally recommend Nancy if you need motivation to make some changes to your life or just your fitness routine. She is so encouraging and endlessly positive.
