First meet Nancy in a spinning class she was teaching,it was fun,enjoyable and the 45 mins flew past.Having had PT training before and always find that I get bored with what I was doing,thought that I would try Nancy to PT me because she knows what she is talking about and is fun to work with. I first came across Nancy at my gym some years back as she taught Aqua there.  She was so lively and fun her classes were soon booked up VERY quickly.  Then she moved on and I lost touch with her but she came back!  Word got out she was doing various classes but a friend recommended Sh’bam.  Reluctantly I went along as I am no dancer but it was fab – great music, disco lights – the works!   I also did her Step class which was a really good workout – as all her classes are.  I had thought about getting a PT before but somehow always shied off.  However just before the first lockdown I braved it and emailed Nancy as I knew she did PT work.  She emailed me all the various options with no pressure at all.  She emailed recipes/so much information which was really useful and which I am still using.  So I decided to go ahead and then lockdown happened.  So no gym available but Nancy had a list of workouts I could manage (with no equipment needed obviously) – she worked with me on my targets – tone up/stop the boredom eating/was very encouraging when I seemed to plateau but nicely kicked me in the butt when I needed it too!  Every Monday she would text me and see how things were going and was always there to answer any questions/queries I might have.  She was absolutely brilliant – I achieved my targets and then some.  I would recommend her without hesitation – she is not just an extremely nice person but she knows her stuff too!  I loved working with her and would do it again.

I first met Nancy at a spin class and straight away felt more at ease. I’d never been to a class and was very early into my exercise journey so had no idea what to expect. She was so kind and friendly. Nancy not only supports you but she gets to know you. I then started one to one PT sessions which were great. She taught me that exercise can actually be fun! And that MyFitnessPal would be such a great tool! Not only to help keep me on track but it actually made me realise that years of guesstimating was not accurate at all! I think I still guess here and there but with the guidance of Nancy it’s far more accurate than it once was. She helped me realise that meeting goals and targets is worth a bit of sweat! Our sessions were great fun and always motivational. The level of support that Nancy provides is like no other. When a friend recommended Nancy to me she said she was inspirational and the best person to help with weight loss guidance. Nancy helped me with 2 months of online support in May 2020. Dr Nancy Priston, so glad I met this young lady via the classes at the Pavilion Club.I started online with Nancy in August 2019 with an additional face- to-face PT at the beginning for measurements plus connecting with Nancy properly and identifying what exactly were my goals – weight loss but to increase my fitness plus a Commissioning Ball as the goal in December 2019. Nancy then set me up on MyFitnessPal alongside an exercise plan for when I was unable to attend the gym classes or away on holiday (those were the days!).and sent me away with heaps of encouragement. Nancy then supported me throughout my journey, answering any questions plus kept me focused along the way. In November 2019 after 3 months online, I had a face-to-face PT session which confirmed a weight loss of 7.8kgs and body fat loss of 9.8kgs – amazing! Since then, I continue to follow the principals of scan, log and eat or drink and have finally found a happy place to maintain my weight and size.even after 2 Christmases, a wonderful holiday and now in lockdown 3. I have not gone without, having a Fortnums and Mason afternoon tea plus eating out to help out in the summer but this is all possible if you stay within your quota – I still eat dark chocolate and peanut butter daily!Finally, I would recommend Nancy who changed my whole attitude towards food and eating habits with the most satisfying chore of changing my whole wardrobe as I had dropped two clothing sizes.

I’d seen the work Nancy had done with others and when I was struggling to lose weight decided to go to her for help. At one point during the three months I called her a witch – I suddenly realised I’d changed my eating habits completely, yet had never been told to or felt that I was being judged by what I ate. Nancy made it easy for me to change my ways, without having to miss out on my favourite snacks, her support was constant and consistent with loads of tips and ideas to incorporate into daily life, exercise and my diet. Wow where do I start? Nancy is no ordinary PT, I have tried a number of PT over the years. I am one of these people, who need to click with the instructor who can give you a boost when needed, but who isn’t pushy, doesn’t tell you what to do, but explains the benefits. She is flexible and tailors it to your likes and dislikes, understands your habits and encourages you to try new things. Nancy, (she shouldn’t), but she is always there for you and she listens!! And I love her for that. I have been a long term PT face to face client with her, she has given me tools and taught me mentally to continue my fitness journey, but when I need an extra boost, we will include extra sessions. She is one of the most enthusiastic, energetic, positive, understanding and have I mention kindest person I know. I am lucky to have her. Totally recommend Nancy if you need motivation to make some changes to your life or just your fitness routine. She is so encouraging and endlessly positive. I used Nancy’s online PT for a few months to change up my routine following an injury which meant I couldn’t train in the same way as before. Having attended Nancy’s spin classes over the past year or two, my fitness improved markedly yet without much effect on my weight. However, after a few months of dietary advice, calorie control, exercise guidance and most importantly her enthusiastic support (with only a small amount of cajoling) Nancy has managed to help me shed >16 Kg! Not bad for an old geezer with absolutely no willpower. I can’t recommend Nancy enough as a PT! She is extremely encouraging, friendly and helpful both in and out of the gym. The tips/recipes/home workouts meant I stayed motivated to lose weight and I felt really comfortable contacting her between sessions (usually for some calorie checks)! You will easily reach your fitness and weightloss goals with Every Step Fitness and won’t want to stop once you’ve started!

Nancy made the sun shine on Mondays with her Shabam classes. She made keeping fit fun. With my son’s wedding looming I wanted to be in the best shape. I didn’t consider myself fat but wanted to tone and lose fat. I felt very comfortable with Nancy so asked her about doing some personal fitness with her. She devised an achievable plan for me, guided me on food calories and even gave me some recipes. She stressed that having some of the things I enjoy (e.g. chocolate!) was ok so long as I kept to my calories target. Our personal training sessions were enjoyable and importantly she showed me how to do exercises correctly. She regularly messaged me to see how I was getting on and if I needed any help. She was always there for me and picked me up when I was struggling or had a down day. We did it slowly which meant I have been able to maintain my new shape. In the end I lost nearly 10kg of fat and I feel great! Nancy is knowledgeable, professional and inspirational and a truly lovely person. I would thoroughly recommend her as a personal trainer.

I started to see Nancy at the beginning of 2020. My aim, like so many others,  was to loose weight and in particular reduce my fat percentage. The difference with Nancy is that she is always there, even throughout lockdown to help and encourage you and convince you that it is completely possible so that you never feel overwhelmed. Even at times when I fell off the wagon there was no guilt shaming just sensible advice to continue and look at the long term sustainable changes rather than short term wins. 

Even now months later she still checks in with me regularly to see that I am sustaining my goals and to help in any way she can. I keep telling her she’s a gem and changing lives for the better with her sunny nature and her realistic advice. I will always be grateful. Thank you!

I was recommended to Nancy as at 59 I wasn’t happy with the way I was gaining weight and feeling flabby. I wouldn’t have classed myself as overweight but I knew I had to do something. I was like many under the assumption that as long as I exercised frequently I would be OK. She has completely transformed my body, it hasn’t been this in shape since my 20’s. No food was out of bounds as long it was within my daily calorie allowance. In pre lockdown days I often sent her a restaurant menu to get the amount of calories so I knew what allowances to make. She has given me tips and on what exercises will help my shape but most of all has given me so much encouragement and motivation even when I might have eaten one too many sweet treats. I couldn’t recommend Nancy highly enough she’s a life changer
