A year ahead of turning 40, I had the idea that when that milestone birthday arrived, I wanted to feel as good as I could. Just 4 months ahead of the big birthday I started working with Nancy in face to face personal training sessions and I still strongly held onto all of the ideas and beliefs above.

From that very first session and beyond, Nancy educated me about diet and exercise and that has been the single most important factor that has enabled me to completely change the way I look and feel. As well as the face to face sessions, her constant support in between kept me on track.

When the big birthday milestone arrived, I honestly felt the best I have in my entire adult life – slim, fit and very importantly, strong. I had lost a significant amount of body fat and my body shape had changed beyond belief. When I reflect on the 4 month journey, it really wasn’t that difficult – I still had fun, socialised, went out for dinner, drank alcohol, went on weekends away and to parties – and therefore the changes that I have made feel totally sustainable

Turning the big 50 I decided I needed to try and sort my weight out. Having spent the past decade yo-yoing I managed to put on an impressive 8 kilos – good effort!! I’d tried numerous diets from protein only, cereals, shakes, to online household name companies. Initially weight loss was great but it was never sustainable. I’ve been attending Nancy’s classes for numerous years and was recommended by another pumper.

So how is Nancy different? She motivates you, her constant reassurance and contact helps to keep your focus. It’s not just about food but also exercise.
The food diary was excellent with great recommendations and assistance from Nancy. She is big brother constantly checking…there’s no point not recording as you are only cheating yourself. Plus I felt guilty as she’s such a sweetheart.

Exercise plans for home and gym were perfect and managed to fit in to my busy week. If I got bored Nancy would change the plans. Measuring – this is something I’d never tried, I’ve always judged weight loss by the daily standing on the scales. Sad as it is I know my weight for each milestone! The measuring was one of the key moviators. To start with I had no idea how I was fitting in my old warbrobe whilst only loosing minimal weight, it was lost inches.
The weekly weigh/measurement chart truly helped me.

What have I learnt:
– Everyone needs a Nancy in their life she makes weight loss fun, realistic and motivational.
–  It’s not all about starving yourself but eating the right foods, plus have occasional treats.
– Exercise is as important as dieting.
– You need to be in the right mind set, I’ve always struggled with that but Nancy instils confidence and you want to succeed.

Nancy is one of the most positive, inspirational and kind people you would ever meet. All these qualities plus a deep knowledge of fitness and nutrition make her a dream personal trainer to work with.

I didn’t have a major weigh loss goal in mind and I am already attending many classes at the gym (including Nancy’s Body Attack and Spinning which are fabs). So, I needed some help and guidance to lose a bit of body fat to feel more comfortable, and importantly maintain this achievable goal for a prolonged time.

We worked mainly on the nutrition front with some targeted fitness exercises to do at home when I couldn’t go to the gym. Despite a lot of celebrations (Christmas, Easter, birthdays) and quite a stressful time at work, Nancy managed to keep me on track and achieved the goal I had in mind.

Nancy was always there to check how I was doing and offering help at every stage. She was very responsive and providing the boost I needed when you feel you are going to derail. If I was going out for a meal, she would suggest the best dishes to choose or how to offset some of the extra calories by managing the rest of the daily meals. She suggested recipes and strategies to avoid feeling hungry, which worked very nicely.

I would definitely recommend Nancy if you are after a straightforward, sustainable and effective approach to PT and nutrition. You might think that an online PT program sounds like an experience lacking in human interactions and you might doubt how effective it can be…but not if you are working with Nancy, as you would feel she is with you side-by-side every step of your journey!

Nancy is an inspiration! I first started doing her Body Attack class at David Lloyd about three years ago. There are not many people who could get me to do 168 jump lunges, so when I was looking to shift some stubborn baby weight, Nancy was a natural choice.

I completed a three month online training programme with Nancy, the main focus being on food as I’ve always quite enjoyed working out. However Nancy looked at what I was doing gym and class-wise and changed a few things round. She gave me at home and gym workouts – although to be honest I prefer classes, so Nancy advised on a wider variety including body pump, which I’d never really got on with before. I’m now doing a wider variety of classes, feeling fitter and stronger.

On the food side, it was a case of slow and steady, with Nancy monitoring my calorie intake via MyFitnessPal. Nancy was always on hand to offer encouragement and I felt very supported. Tracking my food worked brilliantly and I’ve managed to keep the good habits up (mostly!) It was a very sustainable way to lose weight.

If you’re looking for a PT, either online or face to face, I couldn’t recommend Nancy highly enough.

I have always been over weight and tried every yo yo diet on the market, slimming world, weight watchers, Kellogg’s diet (yes Kellogg’s diet), juice diet – blended veg and fruit, absolutely disgusting, no solid food, no drinks apart from water, no salt and pepper, total detox, and many other diets, all worked for a time but nothing seemed to last. As soon as I started to lose a few pounds, I would stop the diet thinking my mind set had changed and then started pilling on the pounds again. The one thing I had never tried was counting calories, which seemed like too much hard work until I met Nancy.

I became a member of my local Gym, started Body Step and met Nancy, loved loved loved her classes, tried Body Attack and then Body Pump and really started to enjoy getting back into exercise. But I still needed the push to sort my bad habits out with food.

I signed up for a 3 month on line PT session with this wonderful lady, she assessed what I was eating and the amount of exercise I was doing a week, found out my likes and dislikes and came up with a plan which consisted of My Fitness Pal to log food and exercise, the amount of gym work and fitness classes which fitted in with my work/home life, set a date and away we go.

Using the app was difficult at first but once you get used to it, it is a fantastic tool to logging your food and actually making you realise what food you are eating, calories /sugar content. It also helped knowing that Nancy was keeping a beady eye on my entries. I was working hard building my fitness up, starting with Step, then adding in Attack and pump and then doing double classes that nearly killed me at the time but after getting a great buzz and sense of achievement, thinking “I have just done 2 hours of full on exercise and I feel great”, the weight started to come off slow but then I could see the changes and when other gym buddies started to see a change it really helped boost my confidence.

Thanks to Nancy, in 10 weeks I dropped just over a stone in weight and a dress size. I still have a long way to go but Nancy has helped re-boot my mind, body and soul to make me really want to get to my next goal and lose another stone, she has made me realise that it is not a diet and you do not have to stop all the food you love and enjoy, but to have it in moderation.

Nancy is a very motivating, fun loving and inspirational woman who I am lucky to have met and can call a friend.

Nancy is a loveable rogue who will quickly get you doing things you never thought possible, always with a smile on her face and probably yours too!  Nancy is a delightful, clever & extraordinarily supportive personal trainer who goes the extra mile all the time – working with Nancy will be one of the best decisions you ever made. In a nutshell, Nancy is brilliant at what she does and makes it fun too

BN (before Nancy) – I’ve been running & cycling on and off for around 30 years, I’ve run the London Marathon & ridden the 100 mile Ride London cycle ride twice recently all the time getting bigger & heavier. After training I would often reward myself with fudge or chocolate, because I felt I had earned it. I didn’t think much about what I ate or drank because I kidded myself I was doing lots of exercise and I would slim down eventually. Instead, the weight piled on and soon I was well over 16 stone and getting bigger, no matter how much exercise I did, I just got heavier and heavier.

I joined the Nuffield Gym in Leatherhead, mainly to learn to swim, but even that was hard work, hauling all the weight up and down the pool, Pilates & gym sessions were tough too because of the extra weight I was carrying.

I’ve often tried to lose weight, always based on exercise, but it doesn’t work on its own, the exercise can help, but you have to have a sensible diet at the same time, it’s all about calories in & calories out (you see Nancy, I was listening ). But the key is finding the right person to encourage, support, motivate and nag you, if you are reading this, then you probably have found that right person!

I met Nancy at the gym, she introduced herself personally before my first Spin class, I thought sitting on a bike would be easy – ha, how wrong was I?! But, it was an education &  brilliant fun which is what Nancy is all about. Over the next few weeks it became obvious that Nancy is a unique & talented lady who is professional and knowledgeable with a great sense of humour, she is totally bonkers as well, which always helps. On a bit of a whim one day, I emailed Nancy with a ridiculous question, could she help me to lose 4 stone? I quite expected her to politely decline and have a good laugh at the fat old boy, but she came back straight away and said ‘Yup, if that’s what you want to do let’s do it’.

Nancy encouraged me to sign up to the ‘My Fitness Pal’ App and all of a sudden I could see the calories in biscuits, fudge, cheese, crisps, bread, sausages, beer & wine, all the things I liked. She set me a sensible daily calorie target and I tried to stick with it. She gave me a simple list of do’s and don’ts, foods to avoid and some new ones to get to like. There were recipes, meal suggestions and exercise work outs, very quickly and much to my amazement, the weight began to drop off and I started to shrink!

Every week I had a weigh-in and sent measurements to Nancy and because of this weekly ritual I didn’t quit and the results were obvious!

Nancy is assiduous in her approach, especially as I’m probably the most annoying person she has ever had to put up with. Whatever question I had, she always came back with a helpful answer day or night   If I was going to a restaurant, I could send her a link to the menu and she’d help me choose – with a slight frown she might encourage me to look for the healthy option (not always fish’n’chips or curry) and perhaps not have that 2nd or 3rd bottle of wine, but most importantly, to make sure I logged the calories! Yes, there have been plenty of times when I misbehaved and she must have felt like giving up or throwing something at me, but no, she just says get back ‘on the wagon’ and away we go again.

Nancy encouraged me to try new foods, Sushi, spinach smoothies (who knew such a thing existed!), vegetarian options, no alcohol drinks, her own sugar-free flapjack and much more. I’ve learnt to cook many of her recipes and tried new exercises, most of which I’ve really enjoyed – honest !! Sh’Bam (where I’m the token bloke!), Aqua, Step, Body Attack, Body Pump, weight sessions etc. I think I know what I’m doing in a gym now, thanks to Nancy’s advice.

Have I mentioned the fun? I don’t know how she does it but Nancy smiles a lot, and I mean a lot, she makes the whole thing enjoyable and her enthusiasm is infectious, you can’t go to a Nancy class and not enjoy yourself, it’s simply not possible

So after 12 months of great fun (most of the time), I’ve shrunk by over 120cms & have lost most of the weight. But, of course Nancy is right, weight is less important than body fat, so I’ve got that to a level we are happy with too, around 20%. I’m fitter than I ever have been, according to Nuffield I’m in the top 10% of men my age in the country – how funny is that !! Just as importantly, I’ve learnt so much about diet, exercise & looking after myself that I’m not going to be that fat fella ever again.

A word of warning though, it’s cost a fortune in new clothes and shoes and I even need my wedding ring re-made!

So what worked for me and could work for anyone is finding the right person. Quite quickly I realised I wasn’t making these changes just for me, the magic ingredient is Nancy, she works so hard, with such enthusiasm, I didn’t want to let her down, it wouldn’t have been fair.

So if you are thinking of working with Nancy to lose a pound or two or to change shape, stop thinking about it and just do it – you won’t regret it.

Nancy knows I’m quite flippant about many things, so serious face for a moment – ‘Thank You Nancy, you have changed my life’ !!

I very much enjoyed my course of PT with Nancy and would hope to repeat the experience at some point.

Apart from being a really lovely person Nancy is a great motivator and can encourage a bit of self discipline in the friendliest way.

She showed me just how hard I was capable of working which was extremely enabling, giving me confidence to push myself in my other classes and activities. Any kind of bike work is not my idea of fun but Nancy got me on the bike, no arguments,  and I just got on with it, quite a breakthrough in attitude I can tell you ! Nancy believes in you and helps you believe in yourself too.

She also wrote some gym sessions particularly working towards my goals and was always available via email/messaging for advice or to answer questions.

I also learnt about diet and especially portion control which hadn’t been on my radar at all !!

All in all it was a really, really rewarding experience.

I’ve always been quite lucky in that I am tall and have never really had any major issues with my weight, and so I had a very laisse-fair attitude to working out ie. I didn’t. However, the time eventually came when I started noticing things weren’t as toned as they used to be and I also started to think more about my general health and fitness which weren’t great. I knew I had to do something about it, and booked myself in to Nancy’s Body Step class at my local gym … I’ve never looked back. Nancy was so welcoming and totally put me at ease. I don’t feel like I’m brilliantly co-ordinated, but it didn’t matter, the class was so much fun and I left feeling energised and happy. I was hooked and now attend her Body Step, Body Pump, Body Attack & Spin classes. The fact that I have gone from zero to 3-4 classes a week is almost entirely down to Nancy and her ability to make the classes so much fun.

However I soon realised that apart from attending classes I also needed to make sure I was fuelling my body in the right way to get the benefits of the workouts I was doing.  I also knew I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to help me other than Nancy. She started me on a nutritional programme, sending me recipes and tips to help me get started, and also set me simple challenges to do at home on top of the classes I already attended. I also had 1:1 PT sessions when I could, to get a more tailored workout for the results I was looking for. Nancy is always on hand to answer any questions or give advice and is honestly one of the nicest, kindest (and most patient) people I know, I can’t recommend her highly enough.

I stupidly bought a wedding dress that didn’t quite do up with the plan to lose weight, I tried on my own for about 4 months of exercise and ‘healthy’ eating (aka massive portions of low calorie food). I was so deflated when all of my efforts weren’t working and took the plunge to find a personal trainer. I had previously been to a couple of classes that Nancy had taken and thought I’d get in touch. I just needed something to help me start shifting the weight and Nancy was that something.

I was very nervous before my first class with her, petrified of doing the photos and felt very unfit. I didn’t need to feel nervous at all, Nancy immediately put me at ease. She is lovely, so positive and friendly, despite me thinking I was going to collapse during my first session with her, I really enjoyed it.

Motivation wasn’t my problem at all, I had oodles of that with a wedding looming and a dress that didn’t yet fit but direction was what I needed. Nancy was able to guide me with nutrition and exercise advise and the cms dropped off so quickly. I can’t believe how I had struggled so much for months on my own and by the time we did our first set of measurements there had been massive changes. Why did I not do this earlier.

It wasn’t big changes, I didn’t spend any longer in the gym that I previously had been, the difference was what I did when I was there. Nutrition was a huge factor, I had already changed what I had been eating to have ‘healthy’ meals however I didn’t understand calories particularly well (despite being a hospital doctor). My Fitness Pal was so helpful and very easy to use. It just became 2nd nature to log anything when I ate it. Even if I’d had a bad day I would still log it. Nancy never judged any of the choices I made but she would give helpful hints as to how to stay on the right path and with the results I was seeing and feeling it was pretty easy to stay on track. I felt better than I had in years. I knew Nancy was always at the end of a message if I needed help or I was struggling and I knew that her beady eyes would be checking up on My Fitness Pal so it would keep me going.

The one-on-one PT sessions were always very varied and fun and we had a good chance to catch up on life but also nutrition and gym sessions I’d do outside of the PT sessions.

I had a number of obstacles over the 8 months I spent with Nancy, a change in job meant a huge change in routine and not being able to go to the gym before work, I had a 2 exams which meant all of my free time was spent revising and when people suggest ‘fueling the brain’ I would have to make very sensible choices.

I managed to lose and incredible amount of cms and fitted into the dress! I felt amazing on my wedding day and that is thanks to Nancy.

I plan on using the techniques she has taught me to keep me on track and maybe even losing a few more cms.

I have just completed the 3 month online PT with Nancy.  I really enjoyed doing it and liked how easy it was to follow. I found it didn’t control my life like other diets I’ve tried. If I was going out for dinner/away on holiday I knew I needed to plan ahead that week and Nancy would help me with this. I could still enjoy a glass of wine and eat chocolate occasionally too without feeling guilty!  In the past I’ve tried diets that gave me the number on the scales I wanted to see however my body shape would stay the same and the minute I stopped it all piled back on. I have continued to watch what I’m eating and following the plan I was doing with Nancy and I have maintained my weight and measurements.

 Nancy was always there to answer any questions I had and she would always check in to see how I was doing throughout each week which always gave me a boost. I would see Nancy throughout the week at the gym as I go to most of her classes. She’s a fantastic instructor who really motivates me every week.

I’ve always been a sporty individual, playing rugby, tennis, football, and swimming in my spare time. But I’ve also struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. As a student it was easy.  I simply exercised every day – which meant the excess food and alcohol was kept largely at bay.

But then I graduated, and entered the working world.  Long days in the office, grab and go lunches, and bingeing at the weekend.

Over an 8 year period my weight gradually crept up – approximately 3kg each year, which became my new ‘normal weight’. Fast forward to June 2018 and after seeing pictures of myself on holiday, I knew things had to change.  I was 20kg beyond where I wanted to be, and wearing a wardrobe of clothes so big that I hated shopping –the inevitable shame when jeans just didn’t fit!

I’d actually started taking Nancy’s spin class on a Thursday morning two years ago, and absolutely loved it. But I wasn’t doing much more than that. And I certainly had no understanding of my eating habits. I knew I’d only get on with a personal trainer I liked, but crucially, also one that I respected. Nancy’s credentials are second to none, and it’s clear she keeps on top of her research. There’s no pseudoscience, no waffle and no sales pitch.   She’s honest, inspirational, and I honestly couldn’t imagine working with anyone else.

Over a three month period I manged to lose the 20kg, and get in the best shape of my life. She’s helped me look at my diet and consider easy changes to my calorie intake – which haven’t impacted at all on my ability to socialise or enjoy my favourite treats. The 1-2-1 sessions were great fun and it was brilliant seeing the progress myself.

I’m sure all clients who see results like this are equally glowing about their PT instructors. But I really do think Nancy is different. Because I’ve been involved in sport all my life, it was pretty intimidating at first to admit that I needed a help to get back into it. But that’s what Nancy is so good at.  To those of you in a similar position: bite the bullet and make contact. You won’t regret it. I know I don’t.

As I have my wedding coming up early next year, and like most people find it harder to exercise and stick to a healthy diet over winter months when it’s cold and dark, I wanted to lose some weight and get into a healthy eating and exercise routine over summer. This is where Nancy came in, and she has been absolutely amazing. Nancy uses my fitness pal to track what you eat and is constantly giving advice and ideas to improve diet. She completely understands, though, that we’re all human and have a calorific treat occasionally!
Nancy tracks progress via weekly measurements and although I was on online client, I felt so supported over the 3 months. She is so positive and often gives you that bit of encouragement you need to get to the gym and have a good workout. I am a huge fan of Nancy’s fitness classes too – she manages to make them so much fun and I always leave a Nancy class with a huge smile on my face!
Following my 3 month plan with Nancy, I am more confident in my figure than I thought I’d ever be and I have found so many healthy snacks and meals that I know that I can sustain my current weight.

My professional life is pretty unpredictable and stressful on most days, so regular exercise was something I really needed to do, but never seemed to find the time for in recent years. Nancy is the best possible way back into the discipline and the joy of working out. I got back into the discipline through her 7.00 am PT sessions and that is hard, but so much more fun with Nancy than anyone I know.

Her early morning ebullience is contagious and she customizes her sessions to your personal needs until you rediscover your ‘gym’ self and enjoy getting back into it all. Superb attention to detail, dietary advice that’s easy to follow and stick with, encouragement and just pure joie de vivre makes Nancy’s sessions not just effective and fun, but also uplifting and therapeutic. A dress size down, in much better shape, back problems sorted and back to self-motivated fitness efforts, she’s been a real revelation.

Her recipes are an extra bonus and they work. Even outside PT sessions Nancy keeps an eye out via MY FITNESS PAL and that’s exactly what you need, someone that knows your life is crazy but still manages to keep you on the straight and narrow and hey, you’ll enjoy the trip.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Nancy for a number of years, mainly as an instructor in spin or body pump classes.  Nancy has to be one of the most positive, enthusiastic people I know and whilst making things ‘fun’ in class, I’ve always known how seriously she takes health, fitness and nutrition.

It sounds very cliché but having reached my early 40’s I really struggled to keep my weight under control (I suspect wine and nibbles are major culprits!).  It had become so much harder to not only loose the weight, but to keep myself motivated to want to do it, without the same excuse of “I’ll start again on Monday”!

The defining moment came for me when I noticed how amazing a friend of mine was looking at the gym – slimmer, healthier, glowing!  I wanted to know her secret – and it transpires that was Nancy!! They had been working together on her nutrition programme for around 8 weeks and the transformation was amazing!  So, I had to give it a go!

From the start, Nancy embraced everything – my weight worries, my bad habits, being stuck in a rut with my gym routine. Most importantly, Nancy understood what I wanted to achieve and made that feel possible!

Before we started the programme, Nancy was very thorough with my medical history, eating and drinking habits, family set up (it’s so important to make meals and planning work for the whole family) and my key body and fitness goals.

The hardest part for me came at the beginning, having to do my weight and body measurements – were my stomach and hips really that big?!  The most amazing thing was Nancy didn’t make me feel fat, or old, or a lost cause, instead her mantra was – this is the starting point and things are only going to get better from here. Go Nancy!

So, armed with lots of delicious and nutritional meal ideas from Nancy and a list of do and don’t foods, I started my lifestyle change journey.  What surprised me most was how much flexibility there was with what to eat, and the fact you never need to feel hungry. Yes, I had to cut right back on the naughty things – wine, crisps, chocolate – but with Nancy’s constant support and words of encouragement I got through each week and managed to stay on track. There were many times when I was unsure of what to eat, how to handle a social situation and Nancy was always just moments away by text, or phone, with oodles of suggestions and positivity. Nancy also provided an upper body workout for me to do in addition to my normal gym workout, to keep things interesting and make sure I stayed motivated!

As the weeks went by I could see the weekly body measurements reducing, and the most amazing moment was putting on a pair of jeans which had been too tight, and now fitted (without any muffin top!). At the end of the programme I’d lost 4.5kg in weight, 6cm off my hips, 5 cm from the waist, 4cm off my thighs and 3cm from my chest!

I would thoroughly recommend Nancy’s nutrition programme to anyone, no matter how old you are or what your weight or body goals are.  Nancy, true to her word, has proved that anything is possible (oh, and she really is one of the loveliest people on the planet!). Thank you Nancy 😊

I’d been attending Nancy’s Body Attack classes and following her online when I read her inspirational story and saw so many parallels with myself.  I had been focused on losing weight and spent loads of time at the gym, wondering why my body wasn’t where I wanted it to be and thought, I want someone who has been there and understands.  After talking about my objectives and the options, I decided to sign up to Nancy’s online and in-person programme for 6 months.

From the go, Nancy helped me set realistic, but stretching targets.  She checked in with me regularly and was always there if I had a question in between the monthly in-person exercise sessions. She rewrote my gym programme (making my (limited) time there much more efficient), gave me workouts for specific target areas and produced ‘at-home’ and ‘hotel room’ workouts, which I could use when I couldn’t get to the gym.  She planned challenging PT sessions, incorporating different gym equipment, which I then built up the confidence to use alone in my own gym.  It was tough but so rewarding to see the changes she tracked and recorded each month.

She also helped me transform my diet which wasn’t as radical as I’d expected – I didn’t have to starve myself or miss out on what I like, just incorporate small changes and make sensible choices.  Snacking had always been a downfall and she gave me so many options and recipes to try – the kids love the fruit and nut oat bars and fruit muffins I make now!  I have enjoyed trying new foods and am also more confident to make healthier choices when eating out.

In the 6 months I worked with Nancy, I met and surpassed my targets – and couldn’t be happier!  I sent Nancy a message on the way to my holiday telling her she’d changed my life and she really has.  I have definition in my body and a shape I felt proud to show off in my bikini, for the first time in 20 years!  She showed me that I could achieve this realistically – no faddy diets, no obsessive gym behaviour, no missing out on favourite foods.  Importantly, she taught me self-belief – when I started with her I struggled with push ups on my knees and can now do 40 on my toes!  It’s been hard work but it’s been fun – with Nancy’s sunny, positive personality and motivation I’ve felt like I could do it all the way!

I’d been following Nancy on Facebook for a while having known her a long time ago at school and as my housemate had met her at the gym and was following her, and decided to sign up to some online PT in January. This coincided with me returning to work after maternity leave. I was really stressed about going back and I wanted to help myself by feeling as physically and mentally strong as possible at what was quite an emotional time for me!

The plan is really easy, I wasn’t massively motivated to begin with to be honest. Juggling work, a toddler and my husband travelling a lot with work, meant I didn’t have masses of time to fit in loads of exercise. Nancy was really encouraging and supportive and made it fit around me. She was always close at hand to answer my questions about what foods would be best for me and always sent a motivational message just when I needed it. After the initial 3 months, I wasn’t quite at my goal so signed up for another 6 weeks and have now asked Nancy about a maintenance plan as I’m not ready to go it alone just yet! In the last 4.5 months I’ve lost just over 13kg! I feel fitter and healthier and although I can’t quite believe it, am so pleased with the results!!

I work part-time, study part-time and have two young boys, and it was easy to say that I didn’t have time for myself.  But as the years were increasing, I found I had less and less time for myself, my body wasn’t how I wanted it to be, and despite eating healthy meals, the snacks and sugar cravings were getting worse and I was ruining the good work I was doing with my diet by over-doing the ‘treats’. The result was that I was feeling less confident and out of shape.

I knew I wanted to make a change, but I was lacking the time and headspace to do anything about it.  However, one email to Nancy about her online personal training changed that!  She immediately kick-started me into action, and gave me the tools I needed.  She educated me with nutrition advice to improve the way I was eating, and gave me new recipe ideas to give me some inspiration. I registered with MyFitnessPal which was a brilliant tool to help me monitor my calorie intake and also to make me realise where I was accidentally going horribly wrong! It also made me realise that I could still have treats when I had earned them, so my diet felt manageable and most importantly, sustainable! No fads, no crash diets, juices or elimination. Just sensible balanced meals! I also felt held to account by having Nancy watch over my meals and activities on MyFitnessPal which spurred me on to do better!  She also provided me with home workouts to complete when getting to the gym was an issue, so there were no excuses!

Without a doubt Nancy has to be the most positive person I have ever met, and it is infectious.  I genuinely haven’t enjoyed exercise this much for decades, and rather than trying to skive out of workouts, actively look forward to them!  Nancy was always checking-in with me to see how I was doing, spurred me on when I felt like I was having a blip or was disappointed, and was my biggest fan when I made progress!

And I did make progress!  Over a 12 week period (including Christmas and a holiday!), by using measurements and weigh-ins, I literally watched the weight coming off. I lost 5.5kg and transformed my body shape. Nancy may be a small person but has made a big and lasting impact upon my life! I now feel better at 38 than I did at 28.  I am where I want to be with my body – feeling strong and athletic and confident 🙂 Importantly, I also now feel that I possess the tools I need to go forward and can make adjustments to my diet where needed.  Even if things slip, I now know what I need to do to change it, and know that commitment = results.

I met Nancy at Nuffield gym while attending her spin and body pump classes. I needed a kick start on shifting some weight, and saw the amazing weight loss her clients had achieved with her online training.

We started chatting and I nervously joined her online Pt. Measuring every week and seeing the centimetres drop, was so motivational. We all get so fixated on the scale, but centimetre loss is far more rewarding.

It was the best thing I’ve ever done! I logged my calories, and with her guidance on diet and healthy eating, I started seeing results. She is a very positive and inspirational person, which changed my attitude towards so many things. Some weeks were better than others, but she kept me on my toes. I love my exercise now, and there are very few days, I don’t work out.

I highly recommend her, and would not have been able to be so dedicated without her. I now, feel so much better, and know I’ll be able to make much better choices in my day to day life. I feel positive and motivated and it’s all thanks to her.

I was struggling with my weight for the last 3 years. I knew the reasons why I am not losing any weight is because of my poor diet. I tried all sorts of diet, but nothing was working for me.

After taking some of Nancy’s body attack classes I became motivated to lose weight and want live a healthier life, and what better way to do that by asking her to do online training with me? The online training impacted my life hugely, I was able to learn the right exercises which would help me lose weight. As well as this, within the first couple of weeks I became more aware of what I was eating and how I could eat a more balanced diet. Nancy emailed me lots of food recipes which were delicious and low in calories.

The results were clear after the first couple of months and Nancy’s endless energy and encouraging personality helped me feel more positive. During the online training Nancy was very supportive and after spending a couple of weeks with her I enjoyed exercising and could feel her positive energy rubbing off on me.

The best thing about Nancy is that she is so positive about everything. No matter whatever time I emailed or text Nancy she always replied straight away with a solution.
