My sister and I completed 5 months’ PT with Nancy in February – my aim was to lose a bit of weight and tone up a bit, losing the flabby bits that had accumulated around my body having had 2 children. By the end of the 5 months, I was leaner and felt great, thanks to the sensible and achievable goals, food advice and gentle nudges about making good choices and bucket loads of Nancy’s positivity and encouragement. Nancy has made me look at what I eat (and how much) and helped me to become more knowledgeable about where my excess calories come from. I’ve developed a whole new repertoire of meals that are lower calorie, but I’m also more aware of what choices to make when eating out to stay on track.
Nancy is always encouraging and is motivating without making you feel bad if you decide to have the fish and chip dinner or a night out with friends with a few cocktails. Thinking about average calorie intake over the week helps me to make better choices and hopefully to keep the weight off long-term.
Her workouts have been easy to follow and fun and, even in lockdown, I have been motivated to find the time to keep doing them twice per week. She is a positive voice in my head to keep up the good work!
