I first met Nancy doing her spin class at Nuffield in Surbiton. I loved those classes as she wasn’t the shouty type of instructor, more the encouraging type! What I really liked was that it was always ‘your workout’ rather than having everyone try to achieve the same thing. 

So when my clothes started feeling tight and I needed a kick start, I turned to Nancy for support. Her approach is simple – eat less, move more! And it works. Many of us trick ourselves into believing that training is key and if we train enough then we can eat and drink what we like. You can’t!! The simple approach of tracking calories and training sensibly gives you nowhere to hide and I managed to hit my goals (which weren’t huge but I’d never achieved them of my own accord) quite quickly whilst also maintaining a healthy social life and a sense of balance. 

The great thing is if I add on a few pounds at any time and things start feeling tight again, I know what I need to do! I’m also much more comfortable knowing an effective way of training in the gym on my own after my many Friday morning 121 training sessions with Nancy.  Nancy is great at establishing a training regime which fits your needs and taking any injuries / medical issues (such as my bad back/hips) into account.
